For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed the challenge of a good game. Whether it’s something as simple as Snakes and Ladders, or something with a few more variables such as Unreal Tournament, I’m up for a game. Over the past few years I have begun to explore my own ideas, on paper and in-game. I have discovered that the challenge of taking an idea from my head and transforming it into something I can share with others can be just as fun and rewarding as the end product.
A bit about myself…
My name is Sasha Dunfee, and I am a Game Design student studying at Vancouver Film School in beautiful British Columbia. A recent high school graduate, VFS is my first outing into the post-secondary world. I’ll use this blog to share with you a little insight as to what it’s like to be a student at VFS.
Vancouver Film School (VFS) is a post-secondary entertainment arts school training students in 14 production-oriented programs. Sasha won a full scholarship worth $25,000 to the VFS Game Design program, generously sponsored by Electronic Arts as part of VFS’s Game Design Expo 2007.
